Boo Boo Cousins is a singer, songwriter & music producer. He has had the opportunity to perform at various venues that include Joe's Pub, S.O.B's, The Nuyorican Poetry Café, Brooklyn Borough Hall Concert Series, The Chocolate Monkey, City Tech College, Marymount College, Hill Café and The Brooklyn Terrace at The Aloft Hotel. He has had the opportunity to accompany on guitar and vocals Grammy Award Artist Ladybug Mecca (Digable Planets) and noted singer/musician Brian Jackson (Gil Scott Heron).

His film/tv & multimedia credits include music for Enyce, Lady Enyce, PBS television network, indie film "Deceptive" released and shown at Cannes Film Festival in France and "The Project Bully Free Zone" educational program. 
Mr. Cousins independent CD releases include “Laid Back Cool”, “Direct Sunlight”, “Wet Heat” & “Say Something Beautiful”. The music on these CD’s range in soul, rock, hip hop and pop. Audience favorites include the memorable song "Want You In My Life" to the sentimental keeper "I Need You". Some of these songs are inspiring while others are filled with youthful expression.

He has also been involved in helping educate the youth in music teaching programs, writing workshops, youth mentoring and anti-bullying awareness curriculums. These experiences consisted of teaching classes, providing music accompaniment, writing and recording sessions. Companies and organizations he's had assignments with include SoBro, NYC Mission Society and Project Bully Free Zone to name a few.

Taking influences from artists that came before him, his plan is to always mix art and life through writing, culture, film and of course music.
